Title: Prevention, Recognition and Management of Airway Emergencies – A Hands On Course
This course has been endorsed as an equivalent program to the AAOMS National Simulation Program. Completion of this course fulfills the necessary simulation for AAOMS membership. Verification of compliance of successful anesthesia simulation training will be through the OAE program.

Time: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM + Light Meals
Details: Participants will learn how to recognize and treat airway emergencies with different airway adjuncts on manikins. ACLS Megacodes, BLS practice, and much more. Bring staff and practice simulated emergencies.
Attire: comfortable clothes for simulations
CE: 8 Anesthesia CE Hours + BLS and ACLS certification
In order to receive a certificate for ACLS or BLS, please use the AHA link below to register/complete the online course and written exam. Then send an email to: lifesupport@adventisthealthcare.com to request a skill test on Oct 11. Bring your completed online certificate/exam pass results with you on Oct 11. BLS and or ACLS certificate will be emailed to you following successful completion of the skill test.
